Software Release Announcement
Release Candidate 2

We are excited to announce a new software update featuring important bug fixes and enhancements designed to improve your experience. Please see the detailed list below:

Bug Fixes
  1. Division Persistence Issue: Resolved an issue where division data was not consistently saved when using modes other than single elimination (e.g., round robin).
  2. Player Selection Display: Fixed an error where all players were displayed in the selection list on the right side of the draw screen even after being used in a single elimination draw. Now, refreshing the screen will correctly display only the unused players.
  3. Division Update in Edit Game Draw Panel: Corrected a bug where the selected division in the Edit Game Draw Panel did not update when the draw type was changed, causing the division to revert to the old draw type and games to be deleted.
  4. Manual Player Addition in Cutoff Divisions: Addressed an issue where players manually added to cutoff divisions via drag-and-drop were not being submitted to the online portal.
  5. Tournament Deletion: Fixed constraints that prevented the deletion of tournaments containing games. Administrators can now delete any tournament except for protected templates, a change requested by users to remove demo and test tournaments cluttering their lists.
  6. Deleting Players from Divisions with Games: Resolved issues when deleting all players from a division using the single elimination mode.
  7. Draw Random Games Popup: Fixed the issue where the "Draw Random Games" popup did not automatically open after navigating from the division editor using the "Edit the Draw" button. The workaround of resetting games is no longer required.
  8. Online Registration Status UI Switch: Corrected a UI issue where the system failed to switch to Tournament Operations mode the first time after successfully checking online registration status due to date/time validation errors.
Enhancements
  1. Cutoff Division Display: Updated the display for cutoff divisions to show total scores for each player instead of individual form results when multiple forms are executed.
  2. Date Format Update: The date format has been changed from yyyy-mm-dd to dd-MMM-yyyy (e.g., 17 Sept 2024) for better readability.
  3. Tournament Create/Edit Redesign: Redesigned the popup for creating and activating tournaments, enhancing usability and user experience.
  4. Improved Usability for Tournaments: Enhanced the usability of the Create/Edit/Select (Activate) tournaments process and improved the naming template for cloned tournaments to make it more user-friendly.
  5. UI Improvements for Rotational Teams Editor: Enhanced the look and feel of the UI for the Rotational Teams Editor.
  6. Global Combat MMA Style Updates: Updated total and round scores display for the "Crush Global Combat MMA Style."
Thank you for your continued support and feedback, which helps us improve the software for everyone. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our support team.

Is there a way for smartphone applications to use game controllers with touch buttons?
The touchscreen on phones is very sensitive, which can easily lead to referees mistakenly pressing the wrong score.
I always want you to find a way for game controllers to work on smartphones so that referees can easily score without making mistakes when giving points to athletes.
